but the thing is that if the poster spent some time actually trying to work out a strategic way to play the game there would be no problem. people play the game something happens and they come here and say it is so broken and need to be fixed and how Paradox are a bunch of fools. all you need to do is destroy the stations but everything has a counter. unfortunately it is very easy to counter. Wormhole is by far the coolest FTL around. If it doesn't, send your main fleet to crush the one they have trapped in your capital system. It will also distract the AI, and it'll probably pull back when it sees a fleet it can destroy. ![]() ![]() It won't stop them from jumping around, but it'll slow it if they have a large empire and many fleets. If you're bigger than them, split off as many fleets of corvettes as you feel like microing, and send them to their systems, destroying their wormhole stations and mining stations. A good player would position their station in such a way that, even if you can get to it before their fleet warps in, you probably won't be able to kill it before they are on your face.Īs for the OP, build stations with very little offensive capability and huge amounts of shields, armor, and point defense, and use the FTL trap. However, if you can't beat a wormhole fleet in battle, there's also no way to be in one of their systems with a station safely. Compared to warp or hyperlanes, you'll travel much slower between enemy systems, and a good player probably should be able to at least keep their fleet out of your hands.
